Royal Bearing, a provider of bearings for industrial and transportation applications of all types, has opened a new 66,000 square foot warehouse facility in Metro Detroit (Livonia), Michigan.
The new warehouse is in the commercial and industrial area and is just minutes from Detroit Metro International Airport.
Royal Bearing president Clarence Hopkins said, they are expanding their product line and inventory offering so the additional warehouse space was needed and they made the decision to purchase a warehouse facility in Livonia, in the midst of customer base, to provide the fastest possible delivery times to customers.
"Our expectation is for the Livonia facility to be fully operational by the first quarter of 2011," Hopkins said.
Portland based Royal Bearing is an independent reseller of bearings, with 60,000 line items in inventory, the company supplies bearings for industrial and transportation applications of all types.
