SKF says to set up bearings JV with GE Aviation

The Swedish firm said in a statement it would own 51 percent of the joint venture, which will manufacture and service bearing for GE's engines for large aicraft, while GE Aviation owned the remaining 49 percent.

The joint venture would be consolidated into the SKF group and entailed an investment of $28 million, it added.
