CANTON, Ohio (AP) -- Timken Co., which makes bearings and alloy steel, said Thursday it will supply JSW Steel Ltd. of India with bearings for its new cold-rolling steel mill and provide maintenance services for a total of about $1.2 million.

Timken first began working with JSW Steel as a bearing supplier in 2000 and began offering its maintenance services in 2004.

Timken shares rose 23 cents to $36.22 in morning trading.
