Bearings manufacturer Lignum Vitae partners with Apex Energy Technologies

Lignum Vitae North America has partnered with Apex Energy Technologies to supply and support the hydroelectric power industry with water-lubricated bearings.

The alliance with Apex Energy "brings together the leading bearing engineering team" to "support one of the most exciting material restorations and developments in water-lubricated technology," Lignum Vitae said.

HydroWorld.com reported in January that Lignum Vitae had supplied new main guide bearings for Alabama's 72.9-MW Neely Henry hydropower plant.
